Register for Pop Up Dance Lab

Pop Up Dance Lab is a 1-week immersion into movement praxis, concept, and performance. Open to anyone passionate about dance. Through endurance methods, improvisation scores/jams, and 1:1 coaching, we will work on creating a container that holds your values, interests, and ultimately what you bring to performance. We begin by creating shared community agreements for the group, a kaupapa that honors each individual’s motivations and safety. We then spend each day examining what brought us to dance, and what keeps us here. Expect discussions on values, privilege, anticapitalist dance practices, decolonizing dance practices, accessibility, sustaining careers, and much more! Idea is that this week acts as an incubator for ideas and experimentation, one where we move beyond limiting beliefs and constructs and towards the core of that inimitable thing we call dance.

Option 1: $265 Full Week Participation

Option 2: Bring a Friend! Two for $400 ($200 each)* if you have more than one friend (lol) contact me and we can arrange a group fee that is even cheaper per individual.

Option 3: Send me an email with what you can manage at the moment (could also be alternative forms of remuneration…aka, not money) and we can figure something out. You don’t have to (you obviously can if you like) but you don’t need to justify or explain. I’ll take you at your word, times are tough, let’s keep dancing together! Please please don’t let money be the thing stopping you from dancing! Am also happy to discuss a payment plan or some such thing!

*Full refund up to 48hr before, and obviously full refund in case of illness/emergency/etc/etc.

*If you can’t make it to the whole week, there is an option to do part of the week, this will be determined on a case by case basis so let me know what your needs are and we’ll figure it out.

*Register by April 8 (with 50% payment to hold spot).

Send an email to:
Please list your current areas of interest, things you would like to explore in the lab, so I can tailor the program accordingly.
